Tree "Foot Stompin Folk Music!"

It was a first for the Acoustic Hour Radio Show. The Group "Tree" was this Sunday's guests on the Acoustic Hour Radio Show ( 8-6-06)Jordan Long, one of the musicians actually performed several numbers involving Irish step dance. That had never been done before on the Acoustic Hour. JD (owner of WMUG radio) stopped in, and was amazed as well. We even caught her dance on Video.

One of the neat things that happed on the show was, I saw Matt, he's the lead singer/musician get up and go over to the window during the show. I was thinking, what is he doing? Well, his folks were riding in the car listening to the show outside the window. He was trying to get their attention but couldn't. This went on for a few minutes, and when I found out what was going on, I told them on air to look to the left!!! How cool is that folks.

Tree has formed about4 years ago. They have produced their own CD at home. Taking traditional Folk tunes and turning them into foot stomping arrangements. They were great guests to have on the show. If you tuned in, you no doubt would have been entertained by their style and energy. We will continue to play their music on the show and have them back as guests.
